This letter of authentication will also accompany the trumpet as well:

October 22, 2012

Neal Auction Company, Inc.
4038 Magazine Street
New Orleans LA  70115

Dear Neal Auction Company,

This letter is to certify that I am the maker of this instrument which is only trumpet of its kind ever to be built. The Harrelson “Satchmo” Summit Nouveau model was designed to commemorate Louis Armstrong and the spirit of New Orleans. The Satchmo Trumpet was designed to be the ultimate musical piece of Louis Armstrong Art, and exhibits a broad vocal sound reminiscent of Louis' actual voice.
As with all of my instruments I offer a lifetime guarantee on workmanship.

Harrelson Satchmo Trumpet Features
Leadpipe 4 - medium open airflow, vibrant tonal character
    Bell 7 - 5.5" diameter, broad semi-diffused projection pattern
SWE Tuning Slide with New Orleans Watermeter custom cut from solid brass
SWE Leadpipe featuring Fleur de lis in the mouthpiece receiver
Transcription of Louis Armstrong's trumpet solo on "A Kiss to Build a Dream On" cut along leadpipe
    Black Onyx inlays in receiver
Nouveau Nautilus themed top bracing cut from solid brass billet
    "Lagniappe" milled in top brace
Multiple Finger Button inlays included with trumpet in Blue, Purple, Green & Black Onyx

With Pride,

Jason Harrelson

Photography by Walter Dirks - http://www.walterdirks.com/
Harrelson Client Andy Hague recently released his new CD "Cross My Palm" ... I've been enjoying it here in the office for a couple of weeks now and have been meaning to say a bit about it. Before I get ahead of myself... I wanted to mention that the CD is available on AMAZON here:

http://www.amazon.com/Cross-My-Palm/dp/B008HI7LSQ

My favorite track is "The Boss"... but I find the entire album great music to work to! We've been playing it here in the shop most of the month. I really enjoy Andy's solos throughout as well as the piano solos by Jim Blomfield. Oh, and the cover art is nice too :) The photography throughout is by another Harrelson Bravura owner... Walter Dirks! You should check out his website here: http://www.walterdirks.com/

Andy's writing on this disc is quite exceptional! I encourage you to give it a listen... and to find him performing live if you're on that side of the pond... upcoming gigs include:

November 15th: Bristol Finge Cafe-Bar
November 30th: The Be-Bop Club, Bristol CD launch!
December 2nd: Baker St, Swindon (1pm)
