it's been really busy around here the past couple of months new equipment and new designs... after all of this shifting settles down we are going to turn our focus to the new modular mouthpieces and the show room. i still remember laying flooring and assembling office furniture when we moved in... even though that was 2 years ago... it still feels like the dust is settling... we have boxes that are still to be unpacked... client photos for the showroom walls that lean up against shelves in the office... since the day this business began there was never a shortage of ambition or ideas... we have those in spades... the only things we have struggled with over the years... are time and money... there never seemed to be enough of either of those in the beginning and still to this day those are our hurdles... if we could only clone ourselves and work twice as fast... that's partially why we feel such excitement over all the new CNC equipment... in a way, this tolling is a little like attaching a bionic arm to a hard working human powered team. i finally had a chance this morning to spend some time checking in with some of our clients again. i really feel like over the years we've developed a family. it means a lot to me that i've had dinner with so many of you... or seen you play a show... hung out at the ITG... that I can put a voice, with a face, with a name... with a trumpet... that's my favorite part of my job... hearing from you guys and seeing what you're up to... it's a really interesting perspective i have from this office... watching a growing web of clients... and now with social networking it's that much easier... it feels a little like i am right there with you... and believe me... i get really in to all of your gigs... and news... many times i pull up a page or a photo to share with paul and jason... and say things like... "guess where so and so is playing tonight" or... "did you hear so and so's new song" you guys make it all worth while for me...so please send me your news... I'd love to hear it... music is a HUGE part of my life... and always has been... thanks for the opportunity to be a part of your musical adventures! you guys are AWESOME! I can't wait to see what everyone is going to do in 2012! Wishing you all magic and music this year!
