I wanted to write a quick update to the folks that have been participating in the Trumpet Challenge. Jason has been extremely busy doing research and development on the new MUSE Model Harrelson Trumpet. This has pushed the build of the carbon fiber trumpet for the drawing back. We are going to put a firm date of June 15th for the drawing. This will give us time to finish the carbon fiber trumpet (which will include elements from the MUSE design) and get the next round of challenge videos recorded and edited. Thank you for your patience... those of you who have been patient. We are a very small operation and we do our best to keep up with all of our builds. We really love doing the Trumpet Challenge... but finishing our designs and build for paying customers must be our utmost priority. Thank you for understanding. I have all of the names for the drawing already printed out and sealed up for the drawing. Many of you are in several times... we appreciated all of your efforts and look forward to the next round of challenges starting in June.

Well here it is... without further ado... the FINAL TRUMPET CHALLENGE! 

If you've been participating all along... or if you've just started to submit... we thank you for your effort. Each and every person that entered a video at any point during the challenge will be entered in the drawing to win a the FREE Harrelson Carbon Fiber Trumpet!

Just a quick update for all of my faithful Trumpet Challenge participants. We have been very busy for the last few weeks and haven't had the time we'd like to devote to the Trumpet Challenge. Jason and I will release the next Trumpet Challenge on Monday, January 21st. There will be one more challenge after that and then the drawing for the Harrelson Trumpet will be the following week. Keep your eyes and ears open for the final challenges... coming soon. And, as always, if you submit a video entry... you will automatically get your name in the drawing to win the trumpet. This week we decided to do something a little different. We had 5 entries into the challenge total... and every person that sent in a video will receive one entry into the drawing for the Carbon Fiber Trumpet and also an $85 gift certificate to use on any purchase in our online store... I have been traveling quite a bit and when I came back to the shop I had a lot of other things to do before I could get to the Trumpet Challenge. You have until NOON (GMT) on Monday, December 10th to submit your video. I HIGHLY recommend you submit a video this week... it's now Friday and we only have ONE entry so far. This contest awards prizes on a sliding scale... so the more people that participate the better the prizes... so encourage your friends to join in the fun! This week the challenge was to take either a jazz song and make it classical or a classical song and swing it and make it jazzy... this week the winner is Blaine Kelley with is rendition of Bolero! Nice work. Blaine will win a set of Harrelson Trumpets SWE Bottom Caps in 1/2" for any trumpet (he can choose the make and model they will fit).
