Each numbered X-series trumpet is a unique build designed for a specific purpose, genre, or range of performance genres.
This is the only X45 trumpet ever built. I was organizing the shop, and noticed a drawer of SWE tuning slides that did not pass inspection for the Summit or Muse series. These were built by apprentices over the years, so they do have slight defects. This is the LAST to be built from this drawer of tuning slides. The tuning slide is 100% fully functional, just slightly different in appearance and final surface finish. Enjoy your new, and very unique, X45 trumpet!

Designed for all around playing, the X45 is a high efficiency design that will easily blend with Bach, Yamaha and other horns. Built with our drawn H1M medium venturi leadpipe and heavy weight large taper 3R bell. Includes our most popular SWE style A tuning slide, light weight skeletonized finger rings, SWE 1/2" bottom caps and 1/2" top caps, Amado water keys, Mod2 brass finger buttons. Matching Harrelson Modular Mouthpiece available to further adjust projection pattern, tone color and intonation.
