This is the only X42 trumpet ever built. I was organizing the shop, and noticed a drawer of SWE tuning slides that did not pass inspection for the Summit or Muse series. These were built by apprentices over the years, so they do have slight defects. The next five trumpet releases will likely be built from this drawer of tuning slides. The tuning slide is 100% fully functional, just slightly different in appearance and final surface finish. Enjoy your new, and very unique, X42 trumpet!

Designed for all-around playing, the X42 is a high efficiency design that will easily blend with Bach, Yamaha and other horns while sounding warm, colorful, and extremely stable. A completely unique Harrelson was designed by combining X bracing with a drawn leadpipe and custom Mod Kit components. I chose our heavy weight red brass, large taper 11R bell and our H1L drawn leadpipe to create a huge tonal spectrum. Matching Harrelson Modular Mouthpiece available to further adjust projection pattern, tone color and intonation.
