This C trumpet features our Variable Performance System giving you fully adjustable flexibility, slotting, air flow, resonance and more. Perfect for orchestra, quintet, chamber and solo situations, the X12 will easily blend with Bach, Yamaha and other traditional horns. The "X12" is an experiment in spacing and angles between the leadpipe and bell with a "V" type spacing prominent where these are normally parallel.
This horn incorporates the Harrelson Venturi Gap Receiver and our 2017 Summit CNC machined high efficiency leadpipe to give you full adjustability. Fine tune air flow, flexibility, slotting and resonance with the world's only VGR system. Matching Harrelson Modular Mouthpiece available to further adjust projection pattern, tone color and intonation.
Our new X-series trumpets give you the opportunity to own truly innovative instruments that are sure to become very collectible. Built with the same high quality components as our VPS Summit and Muse series, each X-horn is a true prototype designed to test a new idea, design or material. Jason will be building a total of 100 X-series trumpets, which will be featured in a full color photo book complete with descriptions, build photos and details on each design.
