Jason Harrelson's personal horns

Picture
Clients often ask, "What does Jason play?". Considering he builds all Harrelson Trumpets personally, this is a great question! The answer changes over time as he often builds himself a horn only to find someone wants to purchase it. However, he has kept three trumpets over the years that he built specifically for his own playing requirements.
  • Medusa - this horn is offers a wide array of sounds with one bright bell and one very dark bell
  • Summit One - built medium bright with a 5.5" diameter bell, a versatile gig horn
  • Summit Midnight - the first Midnight ever built, very broad like a trombone with Jason's massive throat mouthpiece
  • Bravura Flugelhorn - Jason is currently working on his new personal Flugel
  • Bravura Piccolo - a work in progress, 4 valves with custom CNC milled bell
