1993-2000 Discovering the Science of Sound
The moment of discovery was a complete surprise. Jason played his friend's 1992 Bach 37 and instantly experienced improved stability, range and control. His trumpet was a 1963 Bach 37 and playability was considerably less impressive. This sparked a passion for discovering the Science of Sound quite literally as Jason began hands-on acoustic experimentation in brass instrument design almost immediately. His desire to understand the numerous variables and parameters in brass instrument design, production and performance continue to this day. Visit our Company History page to learn more about Jason's early years experimenting in acoustics. Photos from this period are hard to come by so please contact us if you have anything documenting Jason's Billings or Northfield years.
