Jason's personal ARP (Active Research Prototype) trumpet #1 is a half Muse MMXX used for prototyping purposes.
ARP #1 features deep engraving throughout the body, bracing, and bell crook relevant to research at Harrelson. The tuning slide was featured at the IMTS manufacturing show in Chicago to showcase the latest technologies at the time (2016) including CAD and CAM software and specialized machinery used to design and build this example. This Muse trumpet includes bell and bell crook features found on the standard MMXX model. The leadpipe is a CNC machined one-piece #2 taper including the VGR receiver and inserts. We can change the leadpipe to #1 or #9 for an additional $600. The modular bells allow you to change tone color, projection, intonation tendencies, and finish in just a few seconds. This sale will include any two standard bells from our showroom inventory. You can also have custom bells made or send any bell from any other trumpet to be fit to your Muse Modular system. This trumpet also includes the modular bell choke system with 3 choke variations.
