This is my 30th year of building trumpets. I began this journey in 1992 as a freshman at St. Olaf College where I studied trumpet performance, composition, and physics. I could not afford to pay for college and worked numerous jobs to make ends meet. By my senior year, I was building my own trumpets and the rest is history. I'm offering this Limited Edition 30th Anniversary JAZZ model to give everyone an opportunity to experience the latest innovations in trumpet design and manufacturing. Multi-bore-shape Tuning Slide - Multi-Bore-Shape technology (MBS) improves impedance ratios to make the upper register sing with very little effort. This approach to design maintains overall volume and air flow while morphing into several shapes that achieve better impedance tuning.
All MBS components are metal printed from 316 stainless steel typically used for marine and food processing applications.
5th Generation SWE Leadpipe - SWE Leadpipes are the most versatile and efficient solution available today. 3D printed from 316L Stainless Steel.
SWE (Standing Wave Efficiency) Technology sets Harrelson solutions apart from all other brand manufacturers by preventing sound wave energy from converting into vibration except at the areas of resonance.
