We have integrated the same design tools as NASA and advanced technology manufacturers in the Medical, F1 Racing, EV, and Aerospace industries.

What's the difference between our G4 and G5 models?
Our new G4 Summit model is more efficient and weighs more than our G5 variation. And the G5 is more resonant than the G4. Choose the G4 for the overall easiest playing experience in all registers and at all dynamic levels. And choose the G5 if weight savings and vibrancy are your priority.
The greatest improvements to the 4th generation Summit include a one-piece 3d printed stainless steel leadpipe, bell crook, and tuning slide, reducing weight and improving response, efficiency, and stability. I have further reduced the weight to efficiency ratio by 3d printing new topology optimized bracing and finger rings from Stainless Steel. Experience unbelievable projection at any dynamic level with less effort and weight than any previous Harrelson instrument.

Venturi Gap Receiver - The VGR is a pillar of our Variable Performance System and the ultimate solution offering fully adjustable flexibility, slotting, and air flow. Fine tune your setup to match impedance between your oral cavity, mouthpiece, and instrument to produce maximum resonance. Works with all mouthpieces. You will learn to use this very capable system in just a few minutes.
4th Generation SWE Leadpipe - SWE Leadpipes are the most versatile and efficient solution available today. 3D printed from solid Stainless Steel. SWE (Standing Wave Efficiency) Technology sets Harrelson solutions apart from all other brand manufacturers by preventing sound wave energy from converting into vibration except at the areas of resonance.
Topology Optimized Bracing - Improved efficiency through design includes 3d printed Stainless Steel bell coupler, leadpipe to bell bracing around valve casing, first slide to bell brace, and 3rd slide stop brace. This new bracing is more than half the weight when compared to our previously CNC machined designs and offers more than double the surface area contact. This results in further increasing SWE while improving stability in the upper register, overall response, and stretching the dynamic range beyond that of our 3rd generation Summit.
Topology Optimized One-piece MBS Tuning Slide & Bell Crook - Multi-Bore-Shape technology (MBS) improves impedance ratios to make the upper register sing with very little effort. This approach to design maintains overall volume and air flow while morphing into several shapes that achieve better impedance tuning. All MBS components are metal printed from 316 stainless steel typically used for marine and food processing applications. Greatly improved efficiency provides more stability in the upper register through a new production process and topology optimization specifically engineered to resist anti-nodal high pressure zones on every partial through double high E. This means you can play in the upper register without working harder. Simply set up the appropriate frequency with your embouchure matched to the necessary air pressure and velocity to play any note at any dynamic level, much like playing a piano. Our new G4 Simple Strut tuning slide is just over 4 ounces, which is a 50% weight savings over 3rd generation designs. And our new matching Bell Crook weight has been reduced even more!
