He specifically chose this font and sent me the font style name and approximate size he envisioned within the tuning slide. I raised the letters to two different levels and created a recess at the top to offer more definition. Just about anything may be milled into one or both sides of the tuning slide and bell crook.

They visited again a few days ago to finalize details before final assembly and placed an order for a second Summit Bb trumpet as they play together in the same band.

"Tilted" Summit featuring both leadpipe and bell canted at 3 degrees. Built with SWE tuning slide R, AGR R1 (3/4" taper), ergonomic finger rings and pinky rest, medium weight SWE trim kit, name in bracing, tiger eye inlays and Pollard water keys. Finished in clear lacquer over brushed and polished brass.
